You'll play an essential part in fostering student independence and participation in daily activities, collaborating closely with educational teams to ensure every learner receives top-notch occupational therapy support.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Florida COTA license
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple school sites
• Must be willing and able to travel to various locations throughout the county; flexibility required
• Adaptability to provide services to students with varying needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K–12 students across assigned schools
• Assess students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Attend relevant meetings and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
• Provide in-service training to school staff as needed
