Salary: $90,000 to $100,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the day to day HR function within a manufacturing and food production environment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role owns employee relations, staffing, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, training, HR policies, and workforce support.

This is a highly visible, hands on HR leadership position requiring someone who is comfortable working directly with employees and supervisors throughout the operation. Bilingual English and Spanish capability is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations activities, including coaching, counseling, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace investigations

• Partner with management and employees to resolve workplace issues and maintain a positive, productive environment

• Manage recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and staffing activities

• Maintain job descriptions and position requirements

• Coordinate employee training and development programs

• Support performance management and facilitate communication between employees and leadership

• Administer employee benefits and respond to questions regarding benefits, claims, and reimbursements

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment requirements

• Develop, maintain, and recommend HR policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

• Validate, prepare, and submit payroll for hourly employees

• Complete weekly safety walkthroughs and document OSHA related concerns and positive findings

• Coordinate weekly Alchemy training requirements for employees

• Assist the Safety Manager with workers' compensation incidents and information gathering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant HR experience

• Bilingual English and Spanish required

• Strong employee relations and people management skills

• Knowledge of HR policies, employment compliance, and workplace investigations

• Strong communication and leadership ability

• Professional, approachable, and team oriented style

• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced manufacturing environment

• Strong attendance and reliability

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or food production HR experience

• Paycom payroll system experience

• Alchemy training system experience

• Payroll administration

• Workers' compensation support

• Safety and OSHA exposure

The strongest candidate will be a hands on HR professional who is comfortable moving between employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, training, and operational support.

This person should be visible and approachable with employees while also having the confidence to coach supervisors, handle difficult conversations, investigate workplace concerns, and maintain accountability. The environment will fit someone who enjoys broad HR ownership rather than a highly specialized corporate HR role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $90,000 to $100,000
