Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Marex is seeking a Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) who is responsible for providing reliable data and analysis for monthly financial reporting and analysis. The role prepares accurate monthly financial reports and assists in the development of models and dashboards that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.Responsibilities:Prepare and distribute monthly payout reports for internal brokers.Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly customer profitability reporting.Create internal dashboard for customer profitability reporting.Update variance analysis reports and financial models and enhance models when possible.Analyze monthly financial results and investigate inconsistencies and variances.Produce daily reports as required.Assist in the month-end close process (reporting/consolidation activities).Seek opportunities to automate the financial reporting processes.Assist with various ad-hoc projects, analysis, presentation requests, and process improvementsAll employees are expected to understand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied withRole model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct:To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as requiredTo escalate risk events immediatelyTo provide input to risk management processes, as required.Competencies, Skills and Experience:Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.Demonstrates curiosity.Resilient in a challenging, fast-paced environment.Ability to take a high level of responsibility in a fast pace and high-volume environment.Excels at building relationships, networking and influencing others.Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.At least three to five (3-5) years' of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Excel modelling required.Experience in Essbase/SmartView and PeopleSoft software preferred.Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Tableau preferred.Demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting processes, procedures, and GAAP.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.Salary Range: $80,000 to $115,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.Marex Benefits for 2026Be collaborative - by working together across the organization, we foster teamwork, can better respond to challenges and successfully deliver for our clientsAct with integrity - we pride ourselves on our honesty and high ethical standards.
