This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and have experience in material handling environments, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.Schedule: Multiple Shifts AvailableM-F 5:00am-1:30pmM-F 1:00pm-9:30pmM-F 9:00pm-5:30amPay and BenefitsHourly or Incentive BonusMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, plus FSA/HSA, Disability, and Life insurance (eligible after 30 days)401(K) Retirement Savings Plan with company matchPaid Time Off, including Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays, Parental Leave, and WellnessProduct Discounts, and moreQualificationsAbility to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demandsComfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferredExperience operating powered industrial equipment (specifically Combi-lift or Moffett) is a plusExperience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts or similar) preferredExperience with, or readiness to learn, distribution technology such as RF scannersRegular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirementsDetail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in where neededResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts other yard powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materialsReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and qualityEnsures inbound shipments of moderate importance levels are received and registered correctly.Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flowAccurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipmentPrioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needsMaintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areasMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environmentFollow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all timesParticipate in safety observations, audits, and team meetingsCommunicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environmentEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.At Ferguson, we care for each other.
