Part-Time Dental Assistant - Surgical

Job Overview Join ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers as a Surgical Dental Assistant. Job Type: Part‑Time. Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience and certification). Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures. Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures. Ensure patient comfort, monitor well‑being, and educate them on pre‑ and post‑operative care. Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays following strict infection control protocols. Take dental X‑rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed. Assist with medical clearances and patient record management. Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies as needed. Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required. Valid certifications meeting applicable state requirements. Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision. Self‑starter mentality with a focus on patient safety and care. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
