Materials Prep & Packing Assistant (Night Shift)

Night Shift Studio Assistant NORY is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Night Shift Studio Assistant to support summer camp operations. This hands‑on role involves prepping, organizing, and packing enrichment materials to help bring STEM education to life for thousands of children. Qualities We're Seeking Reliable, punctual, and focused Knowledgeable about prepping and packing materials Hardworking, very organized, and efficient at multitasking Strong attention to detail and memory retention Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong problem‑solving skills with basic math knowledge Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Artistic creativity is a plus Responsibilities Include Preparing enrichment program materials (arts & crafts and engineering/tech materials) Accurately packing, labeling, and organizing materials for camp distribution Maintaining office organization for efficient operations Restocking and maintaining supply inventory Requirements No experience necessary, but comfortability with operating power tools Ability to stand, bend over, walk, etc., for long periods of time Ability to lift 20+ lbs Familiarity with city navigation for occasional material deliveries Work Schedule Standard night shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Preferred regular hours: 20–40 hours per week Extended hours may be available based on performance and team needs Compensation $17 per hour Benefits Not applicable Pay Frequency Bi-weekly NORY New York is a proud equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
