A typical shift involves setting up, operating, and maintaining MIG welding equipment. Accurately read linear measuring devices. Weld around various shaft diameters, flat, vertical fillet, and lap joints of 7 Ga. to 5/16" metal. Visually inspect welds to ensure compliance with specifications. Physical requirements include standing for 8 – 10 hours and lifting 50 pounds.
To land this job, you need to be AWS certified or pass in-house welding tests. You should have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and be dependable, safe, and ready to show up on time.
