Temporary Worker: A temporary worker is an employee who works less than 4 1/2 months in a school year. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR, payroll, accounting, or banking environment, preferably within a public education setting. Minimum 1 year’s experience with HR Information System (HRIS) and/or a finance system; eFinance Plus financial software experience a plus. Working knowledge of HR transactions and employment processes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, databases), Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat DC. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
