Overview A&M Valuation Services – Manager/Director, Valuation Services – Structured Finance & Capital Equipment Valuation for Renewable Energy. The valuation team provides a full suite of valuation services in financial reporting, tax compliance, transaction opinions, complex financial instruments, alternative investments, structured finance, and litigation support for private equity, hedge funds, banks and other financial services firms. What you will be doing As part of the Structured Finance Valuation team, you will assist in the valuation of renewable and alternative energy assets. You will work on lease appraisals, asset-based financings, partnership structures and project finance as well as related engagements. You will value assets using discounted cash flow analysis and develop discount rates by reviewing client information, market data and industry information. Primary responsibilities include: Leading an engagement lifecycle, delivering valuation schedules and narrative reports to clients within established timelines Building strong client relationships through day-to-day project management, coordination and execution Building and updating financial models using discounted cash flow analyses and performing additional modeling as required Training junior team members Reviewing models and inputs Conducting due diligence and maintaining client documentation for model building and deliverables Reviewing market and industry information for use in financial models and discount rate analysis Maintaining control processes to monitor changes to valuation model assumptions Contributing to the preparation, creation and review of client reports and deliverables Proactively communicating with all levels of the engagement team Who you will be working with At A&M you will work with a diverse entrepreneurial team of professionals who share knowledge and industry experience. Core Qualifications Minimum 5-7+ years of valuation and modelling experience gained at a Big 4 or other reputable consulting firm, investment bank or independent valuation firm Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field Experience in the renewable and alternative energy industry Strong writing skills and experience developing reports using Microsoft Word Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; VBA, Macros, etc. a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills Effective project management, time management and organizational skills Ambitious, results-driven self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset Additional Qualifications Experience with coding (VBA or other) in the context of building financial models Qualified or studying for a professional qualification such as CFA/ASA/CPA Inclusive Diversity A&M’s entrepreneurial culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who positively impact clients and the industry.
