Sr. Accountant (Payable)

Job Description Key Responsibilities Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Manage vendor relationships and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies. SAP S4/HANA Expertise Utilize SAP S4/HANA for managing accounts payable operations. Ensure proper configuration and usage of SAP modules to optimize accounts payable processes. Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring all payable transactions are accounted for. Compliance and Control Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes and implement improvements as necessary. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of accounts payable professionals. Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Process Improvement Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function. Leverage technology and best practices to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks. Vendor Management Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage negotiations to optimize payment terms and conditions. Resolve vendor disputes and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction. Qualifications Education M.Com / CA (Inter) Experience 8–10 years of experience in accounts payable management. Extensive experience with SAP S4/HANA is required. Skills Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices. Proficiency in using SAP S4/HANA for financial transactions and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Attributes Experience in a multinational or large‑scale organization. Knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.
