Beef Research Project CoordinatorThe University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) is tackling the big challenges in beef production, blending cutting-edge research with practical solutions to help producers thrive. As the Beef Research Project Coordinator, you will:Coordinate with Beef Feedlot Unit Manager, weighing, sorting, and allotting of cattle on nutrition experiments.Collect experimental data, cattle weights, feed records and packing house data.Assist beef nutrition faculty in the design of nutrition experiments and formulation of experimental rations.Compile, summarize and statistically analyze data from experiments.Procure special feed ingredients and supplies.Coordinate research of graduate students conducted at Beef Feedlot Unit.About Us At the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, we're proud to be consistently recognized by Forbes as a top employer and recently earned the Family Friendly Workplace certification. Project management and/or supervisory experience. Substantial knowledge of the beef nutrition system and industry. Experience with data and statistical analysis. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks. Valid driver's license and ability to meet University driver eligibility criteria.Preferred Qualifications - Animal production experience preferred but not required.Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required - NoPhysical Required - YesCommercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
