Patent Attorney with Electrical Engineering Background

Job Overview A law firm seeks a patent attorney in Grand Rapids, MI, with a background in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of legal experience and be registered with the PTO and a state bar. Duties Prepare and prosecute patent applications. Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses. Advise clients on intellectual property strategy. Collaborate with inventors and technical experts. Manage patent portfolios. Requirements Registered with the PTO and a state bar. Minimum of two years of legal experience. Experience in patent prosecution and analysis. Education Degree in Electrical Engineering. Certifications Registered Patent Attorney. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
