NP, Nurse Practitioner/PA, Physician Assistant - Family Medicine

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in New Braunfels, TX. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting while also supporting patients with select obstetrical needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term patient relationships and delivering high-quality care across a broad patient population.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients across the lifespan
• Performing wellness exams, routine screenings, and follow-up visits
• Managing common primary care conditions and coordinating specialty referrals as needed
• Supporting obstetrical patients as part of a collaborative care team
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Educating patients on disease prevention, medications, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications include:

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Previous family medicine or primary care experience preferred
• Obstetrical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
