Commercial Lines Marketing and Placement Specialist

Location: Woodbury, New York - Nassau County Long Island
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Marketing and Placement Specialist to join our clients' dynamic insurance team. This full-time position plays a critical role in the successful marketing, placement, and servicing of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional relationship-building skills with carriers and wholesalers, and the ability to navigate complex insurance placements while delivering outstanding service to clients.
As a Commercial Lines Marketing and Placement Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between the agency, insurance carriers, wholesalers, and clients. Your expertise in commercial insurance markets and your ability to negotiate favorable terms will directly impact clients' risk management strategies and the agency's growth and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Placement- Market commercial insurance accounts to appropriate insurance carriers and wholesalers, ensuring optimal coverage and competitive pricing for clients
- Prepare and submit comprehensive insurance applications, loss runs, and supplemental information to carriers and wholesalers in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, carrier representatives, and wholesale brokers to facilitate efficient placement processes
- Research and identify appropriate markets for various commercial lines products including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, and specialized coverages
- Coordinate the collection of required underwriting information from clients and ensure all submissions are complete and accurate
- Track all marketing activities and maintain detailed records of submissions, quotes, and carrier responses
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premiums, and coverage enhancements with carriers to secure the most favorable outcomes for clients
- Analyze and compare multiple insurance quotes, identifying coverage gaps, differences in terms and conditions, and cost variations
