Shift Manager - In Room Dining - Full Time

About the Role The In Room Dining Supervisor assists the Manager In Room Dining in overseeing the day-to-day management of the In Room Dining Operation. Position Responsibilities Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy Responsible for controlling labor and other operating costs Trains and evaluates all In Room Dining personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures Facilitates communication between various hotel, casino Departments and the In-Room Dining and Amenity Department to ensure courteous and prompt service Ensures sanitation compliance throughout In Room Dining Handles customer complaints Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays The ability to handle all types of guest related situations Essential Functions The ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp Must be able to walk and stand for entire shift The ability to work in a high-pressure environment Must have ability to sit and work from a computer for extended periods Must have the manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable viewing computer monitors for extended periods of time Must be able to read “fine print” areas of invoices and contracts Must be able lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs Three to five years’ experience in full-service restaurant management​ Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field​ Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand) ​ Free meal on shift Training & Development Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k,) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off * Pay Rate: $50,000 annually.
