Nurse Practitioner Qualifications and Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) required
• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license required at submission
• Robotic First Assist Certification required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA); ATLS or ATCN required
• NPDB self-query report, pulled within the last 30 days, required at presentation
• Cerner/Oracle EMR experience preferred
• Robotic gynecologic surgery or gynecology surgical first assist experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant surgical NP or gynecology first-assist experience required; new graduates will not be considered

Gynecologic Surgical First Assist Responsibilities

• Provide first assist support for robotic gynecologic surgeries in the operating room
• Work alongside the surgeon during cases in a collaborative, supervised environment
• Support a daily surgical volume of approximately 2-6 adult gynecologic cases
• Contribute to efficient case flow, perioperative support, and high-quality patient care
• Support accurate documentation in Cerner/Oracle EMR and help maintain smooth OR workflows
