Job Description

• the facility in New Jersey is seeking consistent weekday outpatient coverage across 3 different facilities: Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and the facility . Profession/Specialty: General Neurology Outpatient Coverage Location: the facility outpatient neurology practices in Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and the facility New Jersey Dates of Coverage: ASAP and ongoing until a permanent neurologist is hired. The need is for consistent weekday outpatient coverage across Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and the facility
• The specific schedule and rotation among locations can be coordinated based on operational needs and the provider's availability. Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m
• This is outpatient general neurology coverage only, with no inpatient coverage, night call, weekend call, or holiday coverage anticipated
• Full-time availability is preferred
• Providers must be able to commit to a consistent minimum of three days per week to be considered
• The schedule may rotate among Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and the facility with the provider assigned to one location per day
• The specific schedule and site rotation will be coordinated in advance based on patient access needs and provider availability
• Call Coverage: No Call Type: No Call coverage needed Call Ratio: N/A Average Amount of Call Back Hours: N/A # of Providers Needed: Willing to look at multiple providers Reason for Coverage: To provide temporary outpatient general neurology coverage, maintain timely patient access and continuity of care, and support coverage across multiple practice locations while recruitment for a permanent neurologist is underway
• Practice Setting(s): Clinic Leadership Position/Required to Teach: No Patient Population: Adult: 60% Geriatric: 40% % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% Outpatient Average # of Patients Per Day: Approximately 14-18 outpatient clinic patients per day, depending on the mix of new and established patients
• The anticipated daily mix is approximately 3-5 new patients and 10-13 follow-up patients
• Additional time should be allowed for complex new-patient evaluations
• Trauma Level Designation: Not applicable
• This position is limited to outpatient neurology practices and does not include trauma or emergency coverage
• Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: Evaluate and manage new and established adult and geriatric general-neurology patients

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified and Truly Board Eligible Candidates
• REQUIRED American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP)
• REQUIRED Earliest available start date
• REQUIRED Number of days per week or weeks per month the provider can consistently commit
• REQUIRED Willingness to rotate among the three outpatient locations
• REQUIRED Current New Jersey license (or willing to obtain)
• REQUIRED DEA and CDS
• REQUIRED (for credentialing) Experience with Cerner or a comparable EMR
• PREFERRED Any requested schedule restrictions
• PREFERRED Any malpractice history, credentialing concerns, or restrictions on privileges
• REQUIRED (at presentation) NPDB (within 30 days)
• REQUIRED AT OFFER Whether the provider performs EEG interpretation, EMG, or Botox
• REQUIRED
