Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU/Stepdown environment with a 1:5 patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
• Float to other system campuses as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned
• Pass a compliance EKG exam prior to or during onboarding (two attempts allowed)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU/Stepdown nursing experience required
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, and drip titration
• EPIC EMR experience required
