Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial activities. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting an organization that serves the local community.
Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly Accounts Payable batches
  
  
• The Accountant will reconcile cash accounts and credit card activity
  
  
• Assist with expense allocations and general accounting functions
  
  
• The Accountant will support journal entries and month-end close activities
  
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with additional accounting projects as needed
  
  

Qualifications for the Accountant Role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  
  
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required
  
  
• QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred
  
  
• Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
  
  
• Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and reliable transportation required
  
  
• Ability to obtain or provide required background clearances
