Open Rank, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physician

Position Summary The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) / North Carolina Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track, open rank physician faculty position in the Division of Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine. The faculty will provide clinical care in the 64‑bed Neonatal Critical Care Center (NCCC), which admits over 900 patients per year, and contribute to our academic missions of patient care, education, and research. The role is rotation‑based and compensation will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic accomplishments. The Division is a fully accredited Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program with 19 faculty members and 7 fellows. It conducts NIH‑funded research such as the ELGAN‑ECHO Study and participates in international clinical research networks. Qualifications Minimum: Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine with clinical neonatology training and experience. Preferred: Commitment to patient care, contribution to academic missions, and fostering an inclusive workplace. Demonstrated dedication to advancing clinical care. Location & Working Hours North Carolina, US. Full‑time (40 hrs/week). Permanent.
