We are seeking a skilled TIG welder specializing in push/pull MIG aluminum welding to work in an outdoor shop environment in Sanford, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabricated aluminum products and the ability to weld in all positions using both GMAW and GTAW processes. This role requires working under various weather conditions and handling heavy materials reliably and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform push/pull MIG and TIG welding on fabricated aluminum products in all positions
- Work effectively in outdoor shop environments with exposure to heat, weather, noise, and confined spaces
- Lift and position heavy parts safely and accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality and meet welding assignments per AWS certification requirements
- Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work area
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with fabricated aluminum products
- Ability to pass drug and criminal background checks
- AWS Welder Certification with demonstrated ability to weld in all positions using GMAW and GTAW
Preferred Qualifications
- Good organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
- Proficient with arithmetic, geometry, and their practical applications
- Ability to see details at close range and pass the Jaeger vision test
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable with strong work ethic
