Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2320 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 15 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 15 months of Respiratory experience in a hospital setting is required. Recent experience with NICU patients is required. Experience with Hamilton ventilators, Drager ventilators, Airvo, BiPAP/CPAP, and Vapotherm is required.

Required Credentials: All certifications must be active.

Special Requests: Former UPH FTE or PRN float-pool employees cannot take a travel assignment in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months; this separation policy does not apply to clinicians who worked travel at UPH rather than as an FTE or PRN employee.

Unit Details: Unit equipment includes Airvo 2, Airvo 3, V60, NKV-330, Hamilton T-1, Drager V500, Drager V800, Vapotherm, homemade Bubble CPAP units, and ABL 90 for ABGs. The patient population includes adults in ICU and NICU patients.

Shift & Scheduling: The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Unless the unit is closed, the clinician must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays. No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
