Production Program Manager

Job Title Production Program Project Manager Job Schedule 9/80 Responsibilities Oversee contract execution, planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end, meeting strict deadlines and budgets. Act as the point of contact between Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, and Finance. Ensure cost and schedule conformance by coordinating procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems. Lead the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) and maintain EVM baselines (PV, EV, AC). Perform lead‑time and critical‑path analysis on multi‑level hardware builds. Assess cost and schedule risks, develop mitigations, and monitor/report financial, schedule, and technical performance. Oversee program budgets, analyze and report on budget performance and variance. Coordinate with Master Schedulers and Planners to develop baseline program plans. Develop Work Breakdown Structure, project schedules, resource plans, and risk‑management strategies. Monitor and control program performance using industry best practices. Drive process improvement by applying lessons learned. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering across all levels to complete projects. Estimate sales forecasts for labor and material. Act as a bridge between teams, ensuring alignment of program goals and priorities. Utilize program management tools to monitor and report performance to objectives and facilitate decision‑making. Travel up to 10% as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of relevant project‑management experience, or Graduate degree and minimum 2 years, or 8 years in lieu of a degree. Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working toward certification. Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and conflict‑resolution skills. Self‑starter with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills. Ability to interpret basic engineering instructions and drawings; understand various manufacturing processes and methods. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and data visualization. Experience with schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project. Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems. Experience in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and leadership skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Additional Skills Experience in a manufacturing, production, or highly schedule‑based environment. Data analysis and monitoring expertise. Cross‑functional collaboration ability. Compensation and Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $92,500‑171,500.
