Now Hiring! Temporary, Data Entry Clerk / Administrative Assistant – Long Beach Ca
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry / Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a fast-paced transportation company. This role involves data entry, filing, document management, assisting drivers, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, computer savvy, and comfortable working with Excel, Word, and transportation-related paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain company records
- Organize and file physical and electronic documents
- Assist drivers with paperwork, schedules, and communication
- Update spreadsheets, reports, and transportation logs in Excel
- Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Word
- Support office staff with daily operational tasks
- Handle confidential information professionally
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or data entry experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Email and general office software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, copier)
- Bilingual/Spanish is a plus
- Must have a valid driver license
Monday- Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm
