Fitness Coordinator I

Description Assists director with the overall management and daily maintenance/operation of the Wellness Center facility Assists with client orientation Supervises exercise floor and educates clients on safe and effective use of equipment Markets wellness programs for recruitment and retention of members. Other roles and responsibilities. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in fitness related field Minimum of two years related experience Current certifications, (i.e. ACE personal trainer; ACSM health/fitness instructor; CPR). Required Abilities/Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skill required. Physical Requirements: Work is of medium to heavy demand. Routine lifting requirements up to 25 pounds Occasional lifting requirements up to 100 pounds. Lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, sitting, bending and reaching required. Works inside. Exposure to warm and humid temperatures.
