We look for team members who are passionate about driving academic growth and fostering an inclusive, structured, and engaging learning environment.Why Your Work Matters HereEducating the Whole Child: Students participate in daily structured physical education - including martial arts, tennis, and soccer - as part of our whole-child approach to education.Character-Driven Culture: We teach daily lessons on respect, responsibility, and teamwork, reinforced by a structured uniform policy.Impact-Focused Environment: Our smaller, supportive classrooms ensure no child slips through the cracks, allowing you to truly personalize learning.Supportive Leadership: Our school leaders are highly visible and focused on helping teachers succeed through coaching, collaboration, and responsive support.What You'll DoKey ResponsibilitiesSpecial Education ServicesProvide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).Collaborate with general education teachers to support students through inclusive practices and co-teaching.Implement accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction aligned with each student's educational plan.Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service logs, assessment data, and progress reports.Advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities.IEP & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain IEPs, Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), 504 Plans, and other required special education documentation.Coordinate and facilitate IEP, Evaluation Team, and intervention meetings in accordance with state and federal regulations.Assist with transitions, evaluations, and planning for newly enrolled students receiving special education services.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license.Successful completion of required state and federal background checks.Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations.Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring.Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology.Work ScheduleSchool hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Attendance at staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, conferences, and required trainings.What We Offer We are proud to offer a total compensation package that supports the health, wellness and livelihood of our staff.All health benefits begin day one of employment!Three comprehensive medical plans to choose from with significant company contribution towards premiumDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany-Paid Basic Life, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insuranceVoluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness and Hospitalization Coverage availableSTRS participation for all school-based positionsMultiple scheduled holiday breaksPTO & personal daysWe offer competitive salaries and annual cost of living adjustments, as well as performance bonus potential (based on enrollment and academic performance).
