A growing behavioral health organization in the Columbus metro area is seeking a Clinical Director. The organization provides treatment at detox and residential treatment for adults struggling with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. The desired candidate will be an experienced clinical leader with the ability to provide leadership and supervision for clinical staff members while staying engaged with current patients at the treatment center.

Job Duties:

• Provide leadership for clinical services for programming at multiple levels of care within the organization
• Design, review, implement, and modify clinical services as needed for organization's various levels of care
• Manage and mentor clinical staff members
• Establish and maintain a departmental structure and define roles that support the organization
• Implement effective measurement criteria for key initiatives to continually assess progress and objectives to improve effectiveness of the clinical department
• Mentor personnel to achieve a stronger overall organization
• Ensure all patients have treatment plans that meet their clinical needs and communication with family and referral sources is provided efficiently and in a timely manner

Required Education/Professional Qualifications:

• Minimum Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
• Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 5 years experience for an organization providing treatment services for addiction and mental health recovery
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory position in addiction and mental health treatment
• Experience and skills in staff supervision, training, and managerial principles/practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical consultation for both male and female programs
• Reviews staff performance, completes reviews, and career development plans
• Monitors all clinical records and programming
• Intervenes and assists with clients in special needs situations (ACA, crisis intervention, etc.)
• Participates in weekly leadership meetings

Knowledge, Abilities, and Attitude Required:

• Knowledge and experience in planning, administering, and monitoring addiction recovery programs
• Proven leader that seeks to align themselves with a growing organization and assist in developing strong clinical programs and company culture
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, gaining cooperation among competing interest groups, and resolving conflicts
