Job Title Pharmacy Manager Shift Day & Night shifts available (Rotating Weekends) Duration Perm Location Richmond, VA, United States Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager Pharmacy assists the Director of Pharmacy in establishing, implementing, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory and organizational requirements and standards of practice. This position maintains direct responsibility for staff pharmacists and conducts their annual performance e***luations. The Manager serves as a liaison to other departments and assists as otherwise requested by the Director of Pharmacy. The Manager provides managerial support to the Director of Pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department Leadership through day-to-day departmental leadership and coordination of pharmacy workflow. They will coordinate and supervise the daily activities of Pharmacy staff delegating assignments as necessary in accordance with established policies and procedures and to maintain department productivity. This position is responsible for helping to create a patient and customer focused department in support of the delivery of exceptional patient care. The Manager will also be responsible for attracting and developing a team of highly capable, committed supervisors and staff through recruiting and interviewing candidates that have a passion for patient and customer centered care. Qualifications Required - Hospital Pharmacy Management Experience (1-2 years minimum) at a senior management level position. Required - License in good standing as a Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Hospital Pharmacy Management Experience (3-5+ years) in an acute care
