Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24hour call - August 3 & 4, 2026 ONLY Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based Types of Cases: Adult general surgery cases Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month, temporary privileges available for qualified candidates Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic Certifications Required: Board Certification in General Surgery and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification Licensure Required: Active Virginia medical license *Facility Location* Located in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area of Virginia, Newport News is truly an aquatic city, surrounded on almost all sides by bodies of water, including the Atlantic Ocean and the James River.
