Shift: 24-Hour Call (August 3 & 4, 2026)

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage, evaluate and manage inpatient surgical patients, and perform general surgery procedures as needed.
Required Procedures: General surgery procedures (no bariatric call or bariatric patients)
EMR System: Epic
Days Per Month: 2 days of coverage (August 3 & 4, 2026)
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour beeper/phone call coverage; no weekend requirement

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in General Surgery
Active Virginia License
ACLS Certification
Self-Query NPDB Report (within 30 days) and Clean Background/Malpractice History
