The Rehabilitation Therapy Specialist will practice within an outpatient physical therapy clinic , providing personalized inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute rehabilitation services. The rehabilitation department helps patients recover from surgery, illness, injury, neurological conditions, and functional limitations. The Occupational Rehabilitation Clinician will use modern therapy equipment and individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, safety, daily living skills, and independence. Manageable patient volumes and a patient-first approach allow this rehabilitation professional to make a visible difference throughout the community.

The Occupational Therapy Clinician will report to experienced rehabilitation leadership and collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing teams. Support comes from friendly nurses, skilled therapists, case managers, social workers, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The Licensed OT will complete functional assessments, establish individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, document outcomes, and educate patients and families. Additional responsibilities include discharge planning, adaptive equipment recommendations, interdisciplinary rounds, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
