Maintenance Manager

Compensation: $65,000/year with optional free apartment in Harlem! Summary The Maintenance Manager is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for supervising maintenance staff and performing day‑to‑day building repairs across mixed‑use residential and commercial properties in Harlem. This role reports to the Project Manager, Property & Asset Management, and ensures safe, efficient building operations and strong tenant service. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support maintenance staff while ensuring company policies and deadlines are met Perform and oversee general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general repairs Complete preventative maintenance and respond to emergency issues during and after work hours as needed Oversee work orders, documentation, and coordination with third‑party vendors and contractors Identify and report building or unit deficiencies Maintain professional, respectful relationships with tenants and internal teams Qualifications Minimum 4 years of general building maintenance experience Minimum 1 year of supervisory and staff training experience Strong computer skills, including Google Suite; Yardi experience a plus Proficient with hand and power tools; experience with locks, windows, drains, drywall, tiling, and flooring Must hold at least one NYC Certificate of Fitness: S12, S13, P99, or S95 Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr Adecco
