Description

We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Carrier Sales representative in the Transportation/Trucking/Railroad industry. As a Carrier Sales representative, you will play a vital role in coordinating the movement of goods between shippers and carriers. This is a fast-paced position that offers a great opportunity for growth and development.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring service requirements are met.

· Proactively source and secure carrier capacity to fulfill customer shipping requirements.

· Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers and carriers as needed.

· Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and efficient transportation operations.

· Maintain accurate records in our transportation management system.

· Continuously monitor carrier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
