HR Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Bridgeway Academy & Therapy Center | Hybrid | Full-Time | Exempt

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Are you passionate about payroll, benefits, and creating an exceptional employee experience? Bridgeway Academy & Therapy Center is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused HR Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

In this highly visible role, you'll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while administering benefits, supporting compliance, and helping create a positive employee experience. If you thrive in a collaborative environment where your work truly makes a difference, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Process accurate semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.

  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

  • Support 401(k), ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and payroll compliance.

  • Conduct payroll and benefits audits to ensure accuracy.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.

  • Maintain HR records and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee payroll and benefits questions.

  • Partner with HR and Finance to support organizational initiatives and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or an Associate degree with 2–3 years of relevant experience).

  • Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits.

  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, FLSA, and ERISA.

  • Strong Excel, HRIS, and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
