Director Financial Planning & Analysis

Director of Financial Planning & Analysis supporting the Senior Vice President of Global Respiratory at Merck. The role manages financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis for the respiratory business unit, serving as the primary finance partner to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for Global Respiratory business
- Partner with SVP Global Marketing on revenue analysis and investment recommendations
- Provide financial metrics and performance commentary to Corporate Financial Services and Investor Relations
- Support brand strategy execution from product launch through lifecycle management
- Manage one direct report and coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain finance colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience
- Strong managerial and leadership capabilities across teams
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to travel between New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations
- MBA preferred
- Commercial operations and forecasting process knowledge preferred
Compensation: $156,900-$247,000 base
