Associate Director - Strategic Forecasting

Associate Director responsible for developing strategic forecasts for pharmaceutical products and indications, interpreting market implications, and communicating insights to support marketing execution. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with market research, data science, and commercial teams in a matrixed structure.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate forecast modeling approaches, tools, and techniques for assigned assets and indications
• Develop and deliver forecasts and forecasting insights aligned with enterprise forecasting cycles working across matrixed teams
• Partner with marketing, market research, data science, and payer analytics to develop insight strategies and inputs
• Support business understanding of actual performance versus forecast and communicate drivers of variance
• Engage with marketing, market access, and finance on aligning inputs, outputs, and forecasting insights

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in related discipline
• 5+ years delivering complex analytical projects in pharmaceutical/biotech using market research or large databases
• Experience developing forecast models and related analytics (scenario analysis, business cases)
• Demonstrated ability to work in highly cross-functional, matrixed teams with collaborative leadership
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to translate business questions into analytical hypotheses
• Experience leading diverse groups and managing ambiguity with self-motivation and independent work capability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
