Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough physical assessments and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical surgical rotations is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unencumbered PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Essential Skills
