Pay & Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday

$21.21/hour

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the facility, equipment, and utilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities include performing general building maintenance such as drywall repair, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and concrete repairs; maintaining HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, air compressors, and dryers; assisting with equipment moves and installations; running conduit, black pipe, and chiller lines; supporting preventive maintenance activities; preparing the facility for seasonal weather; assisting the plant electrician as needed; and supporting 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Technical School preferred)

• Minimum of 3 years of facilities or maintenance experience

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems

• Licensed electrician preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and accurately complete work orders

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 33 pounds occasionally. The work environment includes exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
