Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour variable shifts, including approximately 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
• Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Unit: 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4–1:6 on evening shifts and 1:8 on nights

Rehabilitation RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin
• At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital nursing experience; medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred
• Experience caring for patients in an acute-care hospital setting
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Working knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation nursing and adult patient care
• Associate degree or nursing certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Epic electronic health record documentation experience is preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing patient-care needs, work collaboratively, and float to inpatient units as needed

Inpatient Rehabilitation RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients recovering from stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac conditions
• Assess patient status, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate progress toward rehabilitation goals
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for changes in condition, and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate care team members
• Support mobility, activities of daily living, patient education, and safe transitions throughout the rehabilitation process
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote functional recovery and patient safety
• Float to other inpatient units as needed while maintaining high standards of clinical care
• Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, flexibility, and a positive approach when managing change
