Forge is deployed globally, powering critical workflows for Fortune 500 companies with 98%+ quality across half a million production runs. About the Role This is the highest leverage role at Forge. If Forge succeeds at the level we believe it will, a significant part of that outcome will trace back to the recruiting machine you built. The density of talent at Forge is extremely high — and we need someone who is excited by the challenge of finding the top people in the world to maintain and raise that bar. You'll build the talent organization and processes from scratch, own the vision for what world‑class recruiting looks like, and execute the day‑to‑day operations behind it. This role is deeply hands‑on: you will be sourcing, interviewing candidates, and running processes while simultaneously designing systems that scale. We must be the most effective recruiting system in the world. You have the authority to define what talent means at Forge and build the machine that finds it. A significant portion of our 40+ hires will be on the Forward Deployed side of the business — Forward Deployed Engineers and Forward Deployed Strategists who drive on‑ground business transformation inside the world's largest companies. Responsibilities Own end-to‑end recruiting across all roles, from sourcing through close Build and refine the interview process to identify exceptional talent quickly and accurately Create a best-in‑class candidate experience — every person who interacts with Forge should feel the difference Manage and optimize sourcing channels: network referrals, external agencies, and outbound campaigns Organize recruiting events and spread the Forge brand to attract top talent Maintain and report on recruiting funnel metrics with rigor Continuously improve all aspects of the recruiting system and grow the talent team over time Some attributes you should have A maniacal operations focus — you think in systems, have a high tempo, and will optimize everything you touch Deep personal care for candidate experience — people should feel special when they interact with Forge and you An analytical mindset — you love tracking, spreadsheets, workflows, and automations Ambition to build the best talent organization in the world and a genuine love for finding the top 0.01% of people Experience recruiting for technical and customer‑facing roles at high‑growth startups The ability to be both strategic and in the weeds — this is not a high‑level role Nice to have Experience building recruiting functions from scratch at early‑stage companies Background recruiting for forward‑deployed, solutions, or professional services roles Familiarity with recruiting tools and systems (ATS, sourcing platforms, automation) Forge We are in‑person only in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY Backed by Founders Fund and OpenAI We’re a tight‑knit team that works hard because we believe that the nature of how computers work for people will finally change We have a very talent‑dense team: engineers that have built multiple products 0 to 1 at prior fastest growing startups, Financial Services vertical lead at Palantir, VP of Ops at Scale AI, multiple past founders. #J-18808-Ljbffr Startups
