Business Development CoordinatorMission Advancement is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to provide sales, marketing, and project management support to help keep our business development efforts organized, consistent, and moving forward. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple moving pieces, and energized by helping others succeed.The Business Development Coordinator supports the execution of Mission Advancement's business development efforts, including sales support, marketing execution, prospect communications, campaign coordination, and internal systems management. This person helps ensure qualified leads are followed up with, campaigns are completed on time, prospect communications are coordinated, and business development processes are maintained.This is an execution-focused role that requires strong project management, clear written communication, comfort with technology, and the ability to anticipate needs. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Business Development.Key ResponsibilitiesManage business development campaigns, prospect nurturing, assignment-selling communications, and follow-up activitiesCoordinate the business development calendar, project timelines, conferences, deadlines, and follow-upManage proposal and contract preparation processesExecute email campaigns, social media scheduling, and content distribution for the Mission Forward newsletter, conferences, and partnership initiativesSupport podcast promotion, distribution, and Learning Hub content updatesSupport brand consistency and quality control across external communicationsDocument and maintain business development processes, workflows, and systemsQualificationsThe ideal candidate will be someone who:Takes pride in work, follows through, and finds satisfaction in helping others succeedNotices details, anticipates needs, and sees potential issues before they become problemsCreates order from ambiguity while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholdersCommunicates clearly and professionally in writingLearns new systems quickly, uses technology to improve efficiency, and adapts well in a changing environmentRequired SkillsStrong project management and coordination skillsStrong written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to document processes and maintain organized systemsProficiency with Microsoft 365Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar platformsPreferred SkillsHubSpot experienceCanva experienceWebsite content management experienceFamiliarity with podcast promotion or distributionBasic video editing experienceFamiliarity with StoryBrand or Endless Customer (They Ask, You Answer) methodologyWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means business development activities are proactive, organized, and consistently executed.
