Essential job functions:

• Read & interpret blue prints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
• Metal fabrication of ACM which is a lightweight, three layer aluminum composite material made by bonding two pre-finished aluminum sheets to a polyethylene core.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment to include drills, saws, and a pop-rivet gun.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is definitely preferable.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shop.
• Lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Knowledge of industrial adhesive use is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Prior fabrication experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
• Read and speak English.

Physical Demands:

• Will be required to stand for long periods of time.
• May involve some repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
• Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role.

Experience Required:

Experience with hand tools and power tools
