Senior Accountant
Irving, TX - Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite

One of Vaco's midmarket clients has given us the search to onboard a Senior Accountant due to continued growth of the company.  They are looking for folks coming out of more dynamic environments with lots of moving parts.

This is a great culture (very mentorship driven, approachable environment) and regular 40-45 hour work weeks.  

Compensation: $90-95k 10% bonus

Role

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes for a multi-location setup 
• Bank reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, etc. - will get exposure to a lot of areas 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently applied and in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Requires strong communication and the ability to interact with several members of the accounting and finance team across the organization at varying levels.
• Position will need to be self-motivated with extensive US GAAP knowledge, process implementation and internal controls experience.
