Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with call requirements of 10-12 days per month.

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker and defibrillator implants, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct invasive cardiovascular procedures with proficiency.
• Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-procedure for any complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the procedural process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
• RCIS certification is a plus.
