We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Maintenance Assistant at Old Jefferson Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.


What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Perform general building maintenance tasks; receive work orders and performs tasks required to complete duties assigned
• Monitor and record water temperatures throughout the facility, such as resident use areas, laundry and dietary areas
• Monitor and maintain HVAC system, electrical systems, and emergency generator systems
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years building maintenance experience
• Prior work experience in a healthcare facility (nursing home or hospital) is preferred
• Prior supervisory experience and/or leadership skills
• Knowledge of general building maintenance practices and procedures
• Ability to repair minor mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of safety requirements and regulations.
