Sr. Category Sourcing Manager I

As a Buyer, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site. In this role, you will work with partners to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success. You will participate in and/or lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related to, but not limited to, cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation. Responsibilities Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships for the Actives category Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs Support the execution of Global Procurement strategies Handle cost saving initiatives and metric Implement cost savings and process improvement programs Have deep knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and supplier issues Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field 3+ years of experience in sourcing or related field in semiconductor industry Proven strength in complex problem‑solving, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive resolution in challenging situations Experience in external-facing roles, advocating for Micron's interests while maintaining confidentiality and managing supplier expectations Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a semiconductor environment Experience working in a customer success or supply management role The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $70,000.00 - $157,000.00 a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
