Senior Accountant

Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks online a plus.
• 2-3 years' experience in general ledger accounting – journal entries & account reconciliations with multiple entity experience a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of monthly close for multiple entities, including journal entries - payroll, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, prepaid amortization, accruals.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts across multiple entities.
• Reconciliation of intercompany general ledger accounts.
• Accounts payable support – vendor setup, W-9's, 1099 reporting. And additional backup support for Accounts Payable function as needed.
• Assist with preparation of Annual Audit schedules.
• Assist with developing budget variance reports and analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
