The position will perform purchasing and payable responsibilities ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations. Essential duties and responsibilities: Perform purchasing, requisitions, and payable responsibilities within Peoplesoft Financial System while adhering to all Federal, State, local laws, and KCTCS policies and procedures. Serve as Procurement Card Administrator – oversee the compliance with KCTCS Procard procedures. Enter billing, contracts, and memorandums of agreements (MOAs) in PeopleSoft modules. Create accounting journals as needed. Track and monitor utility usage. Track, maintain, and tag inventory. Assist with Student Financials processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Math, or Business Administration) plus two (2) years of related work experience or the equivalent. OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of related work experience. Additional Requirements: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Skilled with Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Quick to adapt and learn new skills in a dynamic, innovative environment. Willingness to collaborate and work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
