Under minimal supervision, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating production, purchasing, and inventory management tasks. Responsibilities will include creating documentation for manufacturing, setting up shipments, ordering material and supplies, and completing additional tasks as defined by the President.
Primary Tasks
- Production – Load purchase orders in QuickBooks and generate work order traveler packet. Help production manager schedule production.
- Purchasing – Quote material for quotes and place purchase orders for materials.
- Shipping – Create documentation for shipments, packing lists, and labels, and arrange for UPS/FedEx pickup. Invoice customer for product shipped.
Qualifications
- 4+ years working experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Team attitude, eagerness to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks regularly.
- Competent with QuickBooks, systems used in a manufacturing environment, and Microsoft Office.
Requires 40 hours per week on-site with occasional ovetime.
