As part of our Kitchen team, you will work alongside talented culinary professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will collaborate closely with fellow cooks, stewards, and supervisors to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service.

As Cook II, you will play a key role in the preparation and production of high-quality hot food items across the hotel's food and beverage outlets. You will contribute to the success of the culinary operation by preparing menu items to established recipes and standards, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, and supporting efficient kitchen operations while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Prepare and produce sauté, grill, and sauce menu items for designated food and beverage outlets.

Ensure all dishes are prepared according to approved recipes, yield guides, quality standards, and presentation specifications.

Set up and maintain workstation mise en place, equipment, and supplies to support efficient kitchen operations.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess products to the Kitchen Supervisor.

Follow proper food storage, labeling, rotation, sanitation, and health and safety procedures at all times.

Minimize waste and support food cost controls through careful product handling and preparation.

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.

Support a collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and contributing to smooth service during busy periods.

You have experience preparing high-quality food in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or similarly fast-paced culinary environment.

You are skilled in hot food production and can accurately follow recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards.

You have strong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize tasks while managing multiple demands.

You thrive under pressure and consistently deliver quality results within established production schedules.

You demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.

You work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to a team-focused environment.

You are attentive to detail and committed to maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

Culinary certification is preferred, and you are comfortable communicating in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
